NOTTINGHAM, MD—Out of an abundance of caution and in adherence with the state’s executive orders, The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools is cancelling the 2020 State of the Schools event.
It was originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, at Towson University’s SECU Arena, and there were plans to reschedule it.
The decision to cancel was made in accordance with the “Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery Plan,” BCPS, and Towson University, and to protect the health of the BCPS community and the hundreds of guests who planned to attend.
State of the Schools is an annual celebration that showcases the excellence of BCPS through featured student presentations and performances, and an address from BCPS Superintendent Dr. Darryl L. Williams.
The 2021 State of the Schools event will be held at Towson University’s SECU Arena on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
