NOTTINGHAM, MD—Baltimore County Public Schools on Tuesday announced the 2020 virtual graduation schedule.
The online graduations will run from June 10-18.
Local high schools will be sharing details about cap and gown distribution.
Officials hope to schedule an in-person ceremony or recognition as soon as it is safe to do so.
BCPS Superintendent Dr. Darryl Williams posted the following message online:
Dear Class of 2020, congratulations!
I am so proud of your hard work over many years. I also commend your grace and maturity during this historic pandemic. You deserve the opportunity to walk across the graduation stage, and we will consider those possibilities when it is safe to do so. For now, please accept my warm and sincere well wishes as you take the next step in your life.
