WHITE MARSH, MD—THE AVENUE at White Marsh has made some changes to their original 2020 summer concert series line-up due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The concerts were initially supposed to start in May, but the first concert has now been pushed back to July.  Instead of ending in late August, the revised concert series now ends on September 26, 2020.

THE AVENUE issued the following statement on Monday evening:

“During this unprecedented time, we will work toward hosting some version of the series in 2020, if and when permissible, however, we expect there will be many changes ahead. As of May 11, 2020 we have reached out to the many talented musicians originally scheduled in May and June to cancel those performances. Some have been rescheduled with the hopes of beginning in July and continuing through September. This is simply the start to our Plan B – with nothing truly finalized until we are permitted to welcome back any number of visitors to the plaza.”
