NOTTINGHAM, MD—Storms and heavy rain are possible throughout the area on Sunday, forecasters say.

The National Weather Service says a few thunderstorms in the Baltimore area could be severe Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening.

Locally damaging wind gusts and large hail are possible along with the threat for isolated instances of flooding.

The best chance for severe storms will be between 6 p.m. and midnight.

There is also potential for locally heavy rainfall.
