Police investigating northeast Baltimore shooting death

BALTIMORE, MD—Police are investigating a Monday night shooting that was reported in northeast Baltimore.

At just before 11:30 p.m., on April 27, officers responded to the 5300-block of Sinclair Lane (21206) for a report of a shooting.



Upon arrival, authorities found 34-year-old Joseph Washington suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second shooting victim, a 28 year-old male, was also located inside the apartment building and was transported to an area hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
