WHITE MARSH, MD—What began as a fundraising effort to help support the staff at SLICE New York Pizza on The Avenue has evolved into an opportunity to say “thank you” to first responders, healthcare workers, and teachers.
SLICE customers can now donate fresh dough pizza-making kits to Maryland’s local heroes.
Those wishing to do so can simply choose how many kits they would like to donate and select a local precinct, firehouse, hospital, or teacher.
Each pizza kit includes “1 Fresh Doughball, Shredded Mozzarella, SLICE’s Famous Housemade Pizza Sauce, Sliced Pepperoni & Instructions,” according to The Avenue at White Marsh.
From the SLICE page on EventBrite:
“Through Kits for the Courageous YOU can provide free Fresh Dough Pizza Making Meal Kits to first responders and essential healthcare workers to take home and have fun making pizza together with their families and enjoying a great dinner afterwards …while supporting a local business.”
