NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Maryland Department of Health reported on Tuesday that the number of novel coronavirus cases in the state had surpassed 14,000.
As of Tuesday morning, there were 14,193 COVID-19 cases in Maryland, 584 related deaths, 3,158 hospitalizations, 59,442 negative test results, and 930 individuals had been released from isolation.
Tuesday’s daily increase in new cases (3.7 percent, or 509 new cases) marks the smallest increase in several days.
Baltimore County has confirmed 1,925 COVID-19 cases and and 51 deaths while Harford County has confirmed 232 cases and 1 death (editor’s note: for the sake of accuracy, NottinghamMD.com is not including deaths categorized as “probable”).
