NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Maryland Department of Health reported on Saturday that the number of novel coronavirus cases in the state had surpassed 12,000.



As of Saturday morning, there were 12,308 COVID-19 cases in Maryland, 463 related deaths, 2,757 hospitalizations, 53,062 negative test results, and 771 individuals had been released from isolation.

Baltimore County has confirmed 1,664 COVID-19 cases and Harford County has confirmed 195 cases.

  • 21040 (Edgewood) – 39 cases
  • 21085 (Joppa) – 15 cases
  • 21087 (Kingsville) – 7 cases
  • 21128 (Perry Hall) – 20 cases
  • 21156 (Upper Falls) – 2 case
  • 21162 (White Marsh) – 4 cases
  • 21206 (Overlea) – 121 cases
  • 21220 (Middle River) – 58 cases
  • 21221 (Essex) – 49 cases
  • 21234 (Parkville/Carney) – 162 cases
  • 21236 (Nottingham) – 56 cases
  • 21237 (Rosedale) – 68 cases

Areas such as Fallston and Glen Arm have had no confirmed cases, according to MDH.

The U.S. has already passed the projected peak hospital resource use date (4/14) and the date of the projected peak in deaths per day (4/15), according to HealthData.org.
