ROSEDALE, MD—Police are investigating after a man was struck and killed in Rosedale on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Rossville Boulevard (21237).
At just after 5:45 a.m., authorities say a man crossed Route 40 at a crosswalk that was closed for construction. He was then struck by a Chevrolet Camaro traveling westbound on Pulaski Highway toward Rossville Boulevard.
The pedestrian has been identified as Arthur Joseph Jr., 45, whose last known address is in the 4800-block of Reisterstown Road (21215). Joseph was taken to MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators areworking to determine all of the factors involved in the fatal crash. The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene.
