Freeze Warning issued for portions of Baltimore County

NOTTINGHAM, MD—A chilly night is on tap for the Baltimore area.

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Watch (now a Freeze Warning) Freefor portions of Baltimore County for Thursday night and into Friday morning.

Forecasters say temperatures will remain below normal on Thursday.

Wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph will add a chill to the air despite mostly sunny skies.

Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees are possible during the overnight hours.

Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation, and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
