Councilman Marks recognizes Carney scouts who made masks for Perry Hall learning center

CARNEY, MD—Councilman David Marks on Monday recognized two Carney youths who made masks for a local learning center.

“Today’s Fifth District Good Samaritans are Alex and Evan Glaeser, who manufactured 40 cloth masks as a Boy Scout service project,” said Councilman Marks. ”

The masks were then donated to the Celebree Learning Center located in Perry Hall/Nottingham, which had previously expressed a need for masks.

Alex and Evan are members of Boy Scout Troop 124, chartered to St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church on Old Harford Road in Carney.

“These Boy Scouts not only demonstrated terrific Scout spirit, but they learned a skill that will help them later in life,” added Councilman Marks. “Great job!”
