Reward offered for info on Essex double shooting

ESSEX, MD—A reward is being offered for information on Friday morning’s double shooting in Essex.



At around 12:15 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Norris Lane and Torner Road (21221) for a report of a shooting.

At the scene, authorities found that two men had been shot. They were both to local hospitals by medics.

The ages and conditions of the victims are unconfirmed at this time.

The suspect fled the scene.

Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information should contact police at 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Government, offers rewards of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest and charges in connection with felony offenses.
