Towsontown Spring Festival 2020 postponed due to COVID-19

TOWSON, MD—The 2020 Towsontown Spring Festival has been postponed.

The Towson Chamber of Commerce announced on Monday morning that the annual festival had been postponed amid COVID-19 concerns.

Here is the full statement from the Towson Chamber:

We are sad to inform you that due to COVID-19 we have to postpone the 2020 Towsontown Spring Festival scheduled for May 2 & 3 and Gardens Day scheduled for April 30. We are planning to reschedule to a later date this summer or fall. However, since we do not have enough information to set a date to insure our vendors and festival goers will be safe, we cannot do so at this time.

Two important factors will guide the decision to reschedule: first, we must have approval from our local and state government to hold the event, and second, we need to have enough distance from the stay-at- home order so that festival goers will feel safe attending.

We look forward to the days of planning special events for our community. In the meantime, we wish you and your loved ones good health and comfort through these difficult times.
