Carjacking reported in Parkville, assault & robbery reported in Essex

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating three local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At just after 9:15 a.m. on Monday, March 30, an individual entered a residence in the 2500-block of Canterbury Road in Parkville (21234) and damaged a ceiling fan and a living room window. The suspect then left the scene in a vehicle, almost striking the victim with his vehicle.



At just before 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 3, two juveniles robbed a man and stole his vehicle in the 2700-block of Taylor Avenue in Parkville (21234).  One of the juvenile suspects was armed.  The two suspects were later arrested – details here.

Between 1:15 and 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, an individual approached someone from behind in the area of Middleborough Road at Route 702 in Essex (21221).  The suspect covered the victim’s face, struck them on the side of the head, and stole their cash and cell phone.
