PARKVILLE, MD—Authorities say a busy road near Carney has been closed due to a downed tree.

Cromwell Bridge Road has been closed at Loch Raven Drive (21234) due to a massive tree that has fallen into the roadway.

The entrance to Cromwell Valley Park was also currently blocked as of 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Crews are on scene and working to clear the tree from the road.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
