Councilman Marks activates Fifth District Community Advisory Council

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks on Thursday announced the reactivation of the Fifth District Community Advisory Council, a panel of neighborhood and business leaders to discuss issues across the Fifth District.

Councilman Marks formed this group of neighborhood and business leaders earlier, but there was poor attendance and it was decided to reevaluate how to share information across communities.

“Now more than ever, we need to work collaboratively to solve problems. For that reason, I contacted neighborhood leaders earlier this week about reactivating the council and meeting once the coronavirus situation has ended,” said Councilman Marks.

Membership is open to neighborhood or business association presidents or their designees.

Councilman Marks asks that groups email him at [email protected] to be put on the email list if they did not receive his message earlier.

“Working together, we can build a stronger Fifth District,” Councilman Marks added. “The coronavirus has demonstrated that people of goodwill can come together to support one another.”
