Burglaries reported in Nottingham, Parkville, Carney

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local burglaries that were reported over the past week.

At 1 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, an individual broke the front glass door at Quick Mart located in the 3300-block of E. Joppa Road in Carney (21234) with a brick in order to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect stole several boxes of lottery scratch-off tickets and placed them in a bag, then fled the scene. This is the second time in the past month that lottery tickets have been stolen in the Parkville/Carney area.



Between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, an individual broke the rear window of an apartment in the unit block of Viewridge Drive in Nottingham (21236) in order to gain entry. The suspects entered through the window and left through the front door. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Between 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, and 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, an individual stole the key from a lock box on the door to H&R Block, located in the 7600-block of Belair Road in Fullerton (21236). The suspect stole cash before leaving.

At 5 a.m. on Sunday, March 8, an individual attempted to pull open a basement window to a residence in the 8400-block of Old Harford Road in Parkville (21234), causing damage to the window frame. No entry was made.
