ESSEX, MD—Police have arrested and charged a suspect in connection with a double shooting in Essex that killed rapper Dee Dave and injured another man.
Detectives have charged Calvin Krasheen Fogg, 27, of no fixed address, in the shooting death of David Leroy King on January 24th.
Fogg has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of “Dee Dave” and first-degree attempted murder in the shooting of a second man during the incident.
At just after 5 a.m. on January 24, officers responded to the 900-block of Holgate Drive (21221) for a shooting.
Arriving officers found two adult men outside a home who were both suffering gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported one man to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second man, Dee Dave, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fogg is being held on no bail status at the Baltimore County Detention Center following a bail review hearing.
