PARKVILLE, MD—Two off-duty officers with the Baltimore Police Department have been arrested following a hit-and-run crash over the weekend.

Authorities say that officer Akeem Nelson was driving the vehicle in question and officer Danielle White was his passenger as they traveled in the 7500-block Hillsway Avenue (21234) at around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Their vehicle hit a parked car and a neighbor – a police officer – dialed 9-1-1.

The pair have been slapped with hit-and-run charges as well as making a false statement to police.
