Several robberies reported in Essex, Middle River area

ESSEX, MD—Police are investigating several robberies that were reported in the Essex/Middle River area over the past week.

At 1 a.m.on Sunday, February 23, an individual armed with a gun entered the 7-Eleven located in the 200-block of Back River Neck Road in Middle River (21220), and demanded money and cigarettes . The cashier complied and the suspect fled the scene.

At around 5:45 a.m. on Monday, February 24, an individual forced his way into a residence in the 400-block of Torner Road in Essex (21221), then pointed a gun at the occupants. The suspect then fled the scene and ran down an alley.



At around 11:45 a.m. on Monday, two individuals assaulted and robbed a man in the area of Middleborough Road and Hadwick Drive in Essex (21221).

At just after 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, two individuals pushed a woman between two parked cars, displayed a gun, and stole her property on Moline Circle in Essex (21221).

Some time between Between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, an individual entered a residence in the 1800-block of Elk Road in Essex (21221) via an unlocked window. Once inside, the suspect stole a camera and damaged property.
