CCBC to hold emergency preparedness drills in February

ESSEX, MD—As students return for classes, the Community College of Baltimore County will be conducting 10 emergency drills throughout CCBC campus locations in mid-February:

Tuesday, February 18
CCBC Essex (two drills: day and evening)
CCBC Randallstown (one drill: day)

Wednesday, February 19
CCBC Catonsville (two drills: day and evening)
CCBC Owings Mills (two drills: day and evening)



Thursday, February 20
CCBC Dundalk (two drills: day and evening)
CCBC Hunt Valley (one drill: day)

Each emergency drill will be one of three scenarios (severe weather, fire, or active shooter) and occur sometime during the specified day or evening.

The drill and chosen scenario will be communicated via Campus Alert, alerts on CCBC desktop/classroom computers, Whelan siren, and campus e-bulletin boards.

Each exercise should take approximately 10 minutes.
