NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.
At around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, an individual entered an unspecified store in the 200-block of Back River Neck Road in Middle River (21220). The suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money and cigars, then fled on foot.
Sometime between 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 30 and 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 31, an individual broke into Lakeside 32 LLC, located on N. Marlyn Avenue in Essex (21221). Once inside, the suspect forced their way through a door leading into the business and stole a television.
At 1 a.m. on Friday, January 31, a known individual displayed a knife and demanded money from the victim in the area of S. Marlyn Avenue and Sandalwood Road in Essex (21221). The suspect then fled in a vehicle with the money.
At 9:15 p.m. on Friday, a known individual entered a residence in the 1200-block of Narcissus Avenue in Rosedale (21237) after being removed by police earlier that day. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. At just after 10:15 p.m., the victim again found the suspect in the basement, but the suspect fled.
At around 1:45 a.m. on Monday, February 3, an individual broke into Seasons Pizza, located in the 8800-block of Belair Road in Perry Hall/Nottingham (21236), and stole money and alcohol.
At just after 8:15 a.m. on Monday, an individual forced open the door to the building in the 1200-block of Chesaco Avenue in Rosedale (21237). Once inside, the suspect stole various items including cash.
Sometime after 10:30 a.m. on Monday, an individual used a key to enter a residence in the 4800-block of Beaconsfield Drive in Perry Hall/Nottingham (21236), then stole cash from the victim’s bedroom. Police did not specify how the suspect obtained the key.
At just after 12:15 p.m. on Monday, an individual forced open a basement window to break into a home in the 2500-block of Wycliff Road in Parkville (21234). Once inside the residence, the suspect stole several items. The suspect was found and arrested and some of the stolen items were recovered.
