Pedestrian struck in Essex

ESSEX, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Wednesday night crash involving a pedestrian in Essex.

The crash was reported at just before 11 p.m. in the 200-block of Back River Neck Road (21221).



At the scene, units report that a 30-year-old made was struck by a vehicle.

He has been transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Trauma Center.

There has been no further update on his condition.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
