Shots fired at vehicle near Rosedale, Nottingham home burglarized, Bowleys Quarters Royal Farms robbed

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At just before 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, two individuals approached the a man while he was seated in his vehicle in the 6100-block of Radecke Avenue (21206) and attempted to open the passenger door. One of the suspects shot the car as the victim sped off. The victim was not shot.

At just before 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, two armed individuals entered the Royal Farms located in the 400-block of Bowleys Quarters Road (21220) and demanded that the victims open the safe and register. One suspect removed cash, while the second suspect stole tobacco products. The suspects then fled the location in a vehicle.



Sometime between 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, and 10 a.m. on Monday, January 13, multiple individuals broke the lock at Nails Pro, located in the 8600-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237), in order to break in. Once inside, they broke through the inner wall to enter Golden Ring Liquors, where they stole two cases of liquor.

Sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, an individual broke into a home in the 3700-block of E. Joppa Road in Carney/Nottingham (21236). When the victim arrived home, the victim observed a window was open and a side door was unlocked. The victim also noticed the screen on the patio room door was broken. Nothing was stolen or tampered with inside the home.
