ESSEX, MD—Authorities have identified the children who were killed in a crash in Essex on Monday.
Police have confirmed that the pedestrians who were struck were a mother and her three children.
Jhalil Norris, 5, and Jovanni Norris, 6, of the unit block of Stemmers Run Road (21221) were both pronounced dead on January 6th.
The mother and 9 year-old are currently in critical condition at local hospitals.
Police determined that a 2008 silver BMW 128i was traveling westbound on Eastern Boulevard when the vehicle struck the family as they were crossing Eastern Boulevard at Orville Road at around 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
The driver of the BMW remained that the scene.
