NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for northern Baltimore County.
The advisory will be in effect from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected, with isolated totals of 3 inches possible for elevations above 1000 feet.
Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute.
Rain showers are expected to mix with and change to snow after midnight.
While most accumulations will be confined to elevated surfaces, brief and localized heavier periods of snow could result in accumulation even on paved surfaces.
Residents should take it slow and use caution while traveling.
