Police investigating Nottingham burglary; robberies reported in Essex, Rosedale

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 10 p.m. on Sunday, November 24 and 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, an individual stole a lawn mower from a shed in the 4200-block of Necker Avenue in Nottingham (21236).



At 5 a.m. on Tuesday, two individuals pried open the front door at Carroll Motor Fuels located in the 2500-block of Cleanleigh Drive in Parkville (21234) and unsuccessfully attempted to steal the ATM machine from the lobby. The suspects then fled in a pickup truck.

At just after 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, a man was assaulted in the 8600-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237) by a known individual who stole his debit card and car key.

At just after 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, two individuals confronted a man in the 1800-block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221) regarding money he owed them for drugs purchased. During the verbal confrontation, the suspects stole the victim’s wallet, keys, and pool stick that were in his bag. The suspects then threatened him with force if he didn’t pay them back. They then fled the scene.
