Reward offered after Popeyes robbed in Edgewood

EDGEWOOD, MD—A reward is being offered for information after a Popeyes restaurant was robbed in Edgewood on Friday night.

At just after 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the Popeyes located in the 1000-block of Woodbridge Center Way for a report of an armed robbery.



At the scene, deputies were told that two males wearing black clothing and masks entered through an unlocked door after closing and confronted an employee. One of the suspects displayed a gun.

The suspects stole the employees’ cell phones and cash from the employees before fleeing.  No injuries were reported.

A $2,000 reward is being offered through Harford Crime Solvers.
