Parkville dentist arrested on child pornography charges

PARKVILLE, MD—A dentist who works in the Parkville area has been arrested on child pornography charges.

On Monday, November 4, detectives with the Carroll County Advocacy and Investigations Center, along with members of the FBI’s Maryland Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, arrested Adam Vincent Slatniske, a 28-year-old male with a Sykesville address.

The arrest followed an investigation that began from the CyberTip Line of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. It was later determined that Slatniske allegedly possessed and shared multiple images of child pornography through the MeWe social network.

Additionally, investigators determine that Slatniske, a dentist, was accessing the social network from a device at his place of employment, Parkville Family Dentistry.

Slatniske was arrested at his Sykesville residence and taken to Carroll County Central Booking, where he was charged with distribution and possession of child pornography.

Authorities say the incident is still under investigation and that there is no indication that Slatniske was creating child pornography.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective J. Moore at [email protected].

Anyone with concerns about Parkville Family Dentistry is asked to call the Baltimore County Crimes Against Children Unit at 410-853-3650.  It appears that Slatniske is no longer employed there.
