Flash Flood Warning issued for Parkville, Carney

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for portions of Baltimore County.

The warning will be in effect until 1:45 a.m. on Thursday night/Friday morning.

At 10:45 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the area. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.



Some locations that may experience flooding include Baltimore, Pikesville, Towson, Parkville, Carney, and Loch Raven Village.

This includes flood prone locations
Smith Avenue at Jones Falls Clipper Mill Road near the Falls Road Overpass and Deanwood Road near Debonair Court.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
