Residents can vote on the options via the survey found here.

Additionally, residents can provide feedback to the Board at a public input hearing to be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 6:30 pm at the Greenwood Campus located at 6901 Charles Street in Towson.

The Board will vote on the calendar options on Tuesday, November 5th.

In 2016, Governor Larry Hogan signed an executive order requiring that public schools in Maryland start classes after Labor Day in 2017.

The Maryland General Assembly overturned the order in March of this year, leaving it up to the local school board in each jurisdiction to decide when to begin school.
