NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two attempted burglaries and an attempted robbery that were reported this week.
At just before 3 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, an individual entered the Dunkin’ Donuts located in the 1900-block of Taylor Avenue in Parkville (21234) through a rear-facing window. Once inside, the suspect tried to access the safe but failed. The suspect left the scene through the same window.
At just after 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, two individuals shattered the front window of Carrabba’s restaurant, located in the 7600-block of Belair Road in Fullerton (21236), to gain entry. Once inside, the suspects attempted to remove the cash register drawer which was empty. They then fled the scene.
At just 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, a man saw an unknown individual inside of his vehicle on East Elm Avenue in Rosedale (21237). When the victim confronted the armed suspect, the suspect asked the victim for money. The victim told the suspect he did not have any money and the suspect fled on foot. The rear passenger window was smashed and a wallet was stolen from the vehicle.
