NOTTINGHAM, MD—The fourth teen involved in the killing of Officer Amy Caprio has been sentenced.

On Monday, Darrell Ward was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Ward had pleaded guilty to felony murder charges back in June.

Back in May 2018, Officer Caprio was run down in the line of duty by a stolen Jeep while investigating a suspicious vehicle connected to several burglaries on Linwen Way in Perry Hall.

The driver, Dawnta Harris, 17, was sentenced to life in prison in August.

The other two teens, Derrick Matthews, 17, and Eugene Genius IV, 19, had previously been handed life sentences with all but 30 years suspended.
