Carney Carroll Mart robbed, man robbed during Essex drug deal

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several robberies and burglaries that were reported in recent days.

Sometime between September 20 and September 21, an individual tampered with hinges to gain entry to a shed located in the backyard of a residence in the 300-block of Bowleys Quarters Road (21220). The suspect stole a leaf blower and then left the location.

At 7 a.m. on Monday, September 23, an individual opened an unlocked rear sliding door to a residence on Shawgo Court in Middle River (21220). The suspect stole cash and shoes prior to exiting through the rear door. Several pairs of the shoes were later recovered.



Sometime between 4:45 and 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, an individual broke into a residence on Gemini Court in Rosedale (21237) and stole cash and clothing.

At 9 p.m. on Tuesday, an individual entered the Carroll Mart, located in the 8600-block of Harford Road in Carney (21234), and went behind the counter. The suspect assaulted the store clerk, grabbed three packs of cigars, and fled on foot.

At 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, two bicycles were stolen from a shed on Chelmsford Court in Middle River (21220).

At around 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, two individuals robbed a man during a marijuana drug deal in the 1500-block of Country Ridge Lane in Essex (21221). The suspects stole the victim’s cell phone, money, and headphones.
