Checkers in Edgewood robbed at gunpoint

EDGEWOOD, MD—Police are asking for help identifying a suspect who committed a robbery in Edgewood on Thursday.

At around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the Checkers located on Pulaski Highway for a report of an armed robbery.



Surveillance footage revealed that a suspect wearing a dark blue sweatshirt, blue tennis shoes, and a black mask, approached employees at the restaurant and demanded money.

The victims complied and the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
