Police investigating rash of local burglaries

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a rash of local burglaries that were reported in recent days.

At 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, an individual entered a residence in the 5000-block of Strawbridge Terrace in Perry Hall (21128) via an unlocked window. Once inside, the suspect stole property and fled the scene.

Sometime between 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, an individual broke into a residence in the 7800-block of Oak Avenue in Parkville (21234). Once inside, rooms were ransacked and property was stolen.

At just after 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, an individual pried open the rear door of Popeye’s, located in the 8600-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237). Once inside, the suspect stole cash from all the registers and then fled.



Sometime between 4 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, an individual used force to break into Precision Tune Auto Care, located in the 8000-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237). Once inside, the suspect stole cash from the register and then fled.

At just after 5:45 a.m. on Thursday, three individuals threw a rock at the door to Pastore’s, located in the 8400-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237), shattering the glass. The suspects were not able to gain entry and then they fled the scene.

At just after 5:45 a.m. on Thursday, three individuals shattered the front door to the Fiesta Mexicana restaurant, located in the 8400-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237). Once inside, the suspects stole cash from the register and then fled in a vehicle.

Sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, an individual entered a residence in the 7900-block of Belridge Road in Fullerton (21236) via an unlocked door. Once inside, the suspect stole cash and a computer.
