Fullerton beauty store, Essex Dollar General burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At just after 4:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, an individual pried open the front door of the Dollar General, located in the 200-block of Back River Neck Road in Essex (21221). The suspect made two unsuccessful attempts to open the safe using the keypad, and the exited the business without taking any merchandise.

Sometime on either September 11 or September 12, an individual entered a residence on Squanto Court in Middle River (21220 via an unlocked screen door and stole a game console.

At midnight on Thursday, September 12, two individuals broke into a home on Cool Breeze Drive in Middle River (21220) and stole two lock boxes.



At just after 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, an individual attempted to break into a shed in the back yard of a residence on Francis Green Circle in Essex (21221), but was unsuccessful. The suspect did not take any items from the location.

Between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, an individual burglarized an apartment in the 3700-block of White Pine Road in Middle River (21220) by breaking in through the front window. A watch was taken, and a laptop and TV were damaged.

At 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, two individuals physically assaulted a victim in the 300-block of Magnolia Terrace in Essex (21221). The suspects then stole the victim’s wallet, phone, and keys.

Sometime between 4 and 7 a.m. on Sunday, September 15, an individual pried open a rear door lock and broke into the CosmoProf beauty supply store, located in the 7600-block of Belair Road in Fullerton (21236). Once inside, the suspect stole cash and then fled the scene.

At 6 p.m. on Sunday, a youth was walking in the area of Summit Avenue at Hallsboro Circle in Parkville (21234), when he was approached by a juvenile who assaulted him and stole his bicycle. The suspect was later arrested.
