PIKESVILLE, MD – Maryland State Police troopers from the Golden Ring Barrack and allied law enforcement agencies will be targeting impaired drivers over the weekend.
On Saturday, September 14, troopers in Baltimore County will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint. The location will not be announced, as is standard police protocol.
The goal will be to locate impaired drivers and to promote public awareness of the dangers of impaired driving.
If your weekend plans include alcoholic beverages, please plan to have a designated driver.
The Maryland State Police Golden Ring Barrack would like to underscore the preventable nature of drunk driving.
Residents should designate a sober driver or call a cab.
