Police investigating local burglaries, assaults

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating several burglaries and assaults that were reported over the past few days.

At around 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, an individual broke into a business in the 100-block of Carroll Island Road in Bowleys Quarters (21220) by breaking the rear door lock and prying open the door. The suspect entered the business and rummaged through a drawer located at the front desk. The suspect stole a drill and left the building through the rear door.

At just after 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, a known individual entered a residence in the 200-block of Endsleigh Avenue in Middle River (21220) via an unlocked front door. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and struck them before leaving the scene.



At 1:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30, an individual opened the rear sliding door to a residence in the 700-block of Shipfriend Road in Middle River (21220).  The suspect entered the home and stole a purse.

Between 1:00 and 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, an individual physically forced open the rear sliding door to a residence on Shawgo Court in Middle River (21220).  Once inside, the suspect stole several items and fled the scene.

Between 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 2, and 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, an individual broke into a garage in the 4200-block of Overton Avenue in Overlea/Fullerton (21236) and stole several tools.

At 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, an individual was robbed at gunpoint in a parking lot by three other individuals in the 9600-block of Pulaski Park Drive in Middle River (21220). The suspects stole the victim’s cell phone and cash.
