Police investigate local burglaries, robbery

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating several burglaries and a robbery that were reported in recent weeks.

At 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, three individuals entered Your Space Storage, located in the 8100-block of Belair Road (21236), by using an access code. The suspects then broke into a storage unit inside and stole several items.



Between 3 p.m. Saturday, August 31, and 7 a.m. on Sunday, September 1, an individual broke the door knob of a detached garage in the 4500-block of Kenwood Avenue (21206) in order to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect stole several items.

At just after 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, two individuals assaulted the a man in the 1000-block of Chesaco Avenue in Rosedale (21237), then stole his cell phone. The cell phone was recovered and one suspect was arrested.

At 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, an individual attempted to break into a residence in the 5700-block of Utrecht Road (21206). There were no damages to the residence and a warrant has been issued for the subject on charges of harassment and stalking.
