OVERLEA, MD – The Overlea-Fullerton Rosedale Business Association recently completed construction of a new seating area for those waiting at the bus stop in front of Dunkin’ Donuts, near the intersection of Belair Road and Rossville Boulevard.
The two-year project was funded through the Baltimore County Department of Planning’s Community Revitalization Action Grant program for about $6,400.
A separate grant also included landscaping for the gateway sign at Belair Road and the Baltimore Beltway.
“I would like to thank Donna Bethke for her hard work seeing this project through to a conclusion,”said Councilman David Marks. “This initiative illustrates the association’s vision of a better business district that serves the people of Overlea and Fullerton. I would also like to acknowledge Dan Trupia from Advantage Landscaping who designed and implemented the project.”
Marks added that contractors from the Maryland State Highway Administration have been patching Belair Road in this area in anticipation of a resurfacing project this year.
