Assault reported on Belair Road, Nottingham home burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating several burglaries and an assault that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between noon on Sunday, August 18, and noon on Sunday, August 25, a vacant house in the 5100-block of Harris Avenue in Parkville (21234) was occupied by unknown individuals. During this time, a saw was stolen from the residence.



At 11 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, while the victim was walking in the 7800-block of Belair Road (21236), two individuals approached and robbed the victim at gunpoint. The suspects stole the victim’s wallet, cell phone, and headphones before fleeing the scene.

Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Friday, August 23, and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, an individual entered a detached garage in the 8100-block of Sumter Avenue in Rosedale (21237) by forcing open the door. The suspect then stole a 4-wheeler and miscellaneous tools from the garage.

Sometime between noon and 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, an individual broke into a residence in the 4200-block of Maple Path Circle (21236). Once inside, the suspect ransacked the residence and stole various items.
