Female pedestrian struck, killed in White Marsh

WHITE MARSH, MD – A 35-year-old woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle in White Marsh on Wednesday night, according to authorities.

At just before 11:30 p.m. on August 14, officers responded to the intersection of Philadelphia Road and New Forge Road (21162) for a pedestrian-involved crash.



Investigators have determined that a 2005 Buick was traveling eastbound on Philadelphia Road when the car struck the pedestrian, who was walking against the flow of traffic in the middle of Philadelphia Road.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead.

She has been identified as Adrianne Bacardi Dietrich, 35, with an unknown last address.

Crash officers are continuing their investigation at this time.
