NWS: severe weather threat shifts south

NOTTINGHAM, MD – While Tuesday is shaping up to be a gray day in Baltimore, the severe weather will likely miss our area.

The National Weather Service says that, thanks to abundant cloud cover, the threat for severe storms has shifted south.

An isolated shower or thunderstorm is not out of the question, however.

Most strong to severe storms will be more likely in the Virginia and Washington, D.C. areas.
