Nottingham man wins $100K with Md. Lottery Ravens scratch-off

NOTTINGHAM, MD – A longtime Ravens season ticket holder claimed the first $100,000 top prize on this year’s $10 Ravens scratch-off game. The Nottingham resident, along with his wife and son, visited Maryland Lottery headquarters on Friday afternoon to claim the prize.

The lucky winner picked up four $10 Ravens scratch-offs from Paul’s Market on Thursday. He scratched the instant tickets while in the Nottingham store and couldn’t believe it when he matched the number above the $100,000 prize. After realizing he won big, the 45-year-old headed home.

“When I got home, I set the winning ticket on the table and told my wife there was something on the table for her to see,” the excited winner said with a smile from ear to ear. “She saw the ticket and was in total disbelief.”

The happy couple will continue to enjoy their season tickets and root for the Ravens at every home game. With the prize, they plan to take a nice vacation and pay some bills.

The retailer wins as well. For selling a $100,000 top-prize winning scratch-off, Paul’s Market located at 4571 Ridge Road will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery. The $10 Ravens ticket still has 11 top prizes of $100,000 remaining. The $2 Ravens scratch-off also has 11 top prizes of $10,000 remaining.
