WHITE MARSH, MD – In one month, Baltimore County Public Schools will celebrate the upcoming school year with its annual BCPSfest.
The festival will be held on Saturday, August 24, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m., on the lower parking lot at Boscov’s at White Marsh Mall.
Here are 10 reasons you and your family will want to be there:
1. Print your own bookmark thanks to a collaboration between the Office of Visual Arts and the Office of Career and Technology Education.
2. Meet royalty – from Medieval Times.
3. Get free dental screenings and information from The Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® mobile dental van.
4. Have your photo taken by the Office of College and Career Readiness to commemorate being a BCPS graduate or future graduate.
5. Take home a free book from First Financial Federal Credit Union, a longtime BCPS partner.
6. Accept the Wheel of Dance challenge from the BCPS Office of Music and Dance Education.
7. Find a potential new job or career! Learn more about employment opportunities from the BCPS Office of Staffing and Recruitment.

BCPSfest will feature student entertainers, an antique fire engine, the Mobile Innovation Lab, the BCPS Parentmobile, and the county library’s Bookmobile, information about BCPS and community programs and services, and much more.
