PERRY HALL, MD – Police are investigating a burglary and an attempted burglary that were reported in Perry Hall.
At just before 4:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22, someone broke into the basement of a home in the 4300-block of Jordan Way (21128) by shattering a window. The suspect walked to the third floor of the home, then fled via the basement. The victim reported that the basement area had been ransacked and that an electronic device had been stolen. Police and K9 units searched for the suspect, but were unsuccessful.
At just before 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, a neighbor in the 4300-block of Jordan Way noticed that a window screen was out of place and had been cut. There was also damage to the metal portion of the frame. Police noted the attempt given the recent burglary in the same neighborhood.
The patrol officers assigned to Perry Hall have been advised to make more frequent appearances and patrols in the area of Jordan way and surrounding neighborhoods.
