Middle River shooting suspect arrested

MIDDLE RIVER, MD – One man was seriously injured in a shooting in Middle River late on Monday night, and a suspect is now in police custody.



Police responded to a call for a shooting in the 100-block of Kingston Road (21220) at around 11 p.m. and found a man, 29, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body that caused a life-threatening injury.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to survive his wounds.

A suspect who fled the scene following the shooting has been taken into custody. His identity is being withheld pending formal charges.

Authorities have determined that the victim and suspect were acquainted and have had an ongoing personal dispute that culminated in the shooting on Monday night.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into this shooting.
