NOTTINGHAM, MD – The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Nottingham area.
Forecasters say up to two inches of rain is possible from 2 p.m. on Thursday through Thursday night.
This could cause flash flooding of streams and other poor drainage urban areas.
In addition, severe weather is also expected. Much of the region is under a slight risk of severe weather on Thursday afternoon.
Damaging winds will be the primary threat, lasting into the evening hours.
