Councilman Marks to hold meetings to discuss 2020 Comprehensive Zoning Map Process

PERRY HALL, MD – Councilman David Marks has announced that he and planning board representative Paul Hartman will hold two meetings in August to outline how the rezoning process works in Baltimore County.

The first meeting will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. at Pickersgill Retirement Community, located at 615 Chestnut Avenue, in Towson.

The second meeting will be held on Thursday, August 8th at 7:30 p.m. at the Perry Hall library, located 9685 Honeygo Boulevard.

The Comprehensive Zoning Map Process begins this fall and culminates in the summer of 2020.

During this process, property owners and other parties can submit requests to change the zoning of land in Baltimore County.

Zoning affects the use and development potential of property.

Councilman Marks says that they will not discuss specific issues, but rather the rezoning process in general.

Those interested in attending should RSVP to [email protected].
